My Life as a Travel Lover: Seeing the World Through New Eyes

October 31, 2022    0 COMMENTS

A few years ago, I quit my job and started traveling worldwide. I didn’t know where to begin, but with some research, planning, and spontaneity, I was off on an adventure around the globe that changed my life forever! Now that I’m back, I learned what it takes to become a Travel lover and see the world through new eyes…

The Beginnings

I have been traveling non-stop since I was eighteen years old. It’s all I know and how I see the world. I never planned to be a travel lover, but it happened one day when I realized that traveling is all there is in life. Everywhere has something different to offer you, and this diversity is what makes life so rich.

It’s more than just seeing new places – it’s about being in new places – and that can only happen by getting on an airplane. It takes courage at first to get out of your comfort zone and try something new, but once you do, you will find that you are capable of much more than you ever thought possible.

We even went skiing once in the Swiss Alps! It doesn’t matter where we are because we see everything through new eyes. The colors seem brighter and sharper here, and when travel lover look at each other, our skin looks golden under this brilliant sunlight everything has taken on an unreal hue, which adds to the magic of being on vacation.

Planning Ahead

I always say that traveling is essential, not just for personal happiness, but to experience and learn about new cultures. I think it’s an invaluable skill to open yourself up to different perspectives and environments. It’s also vital for us all to understand each other. But when people ask me How do you afford this lifestyle? or What did you do before becoming a travel lover?

I’m always surprised by how often they don’t know the answer. The reality is that it can take some time, patience, and work to become a full-time traveler. There are so many little ways to save money on accommodation (such as Couchsurfing), transportation (taking advantage of student discounts), food (hostels have communal kitchens), and activities (free tours) that it can add up fast.

There are so many benefits to long-term traveling too. For one thing, there are no social hierarchies in hostels like at home – travelers from every walk of life come together for a single purpose: getting from A to B on the cheapest possible budget. The communities formed by these strangers make life-long friends out of them; I’ve met amazing people all over the world through hostel dorms.

Survival Tips

Stay in hostels. I have stayed in Airbnb and hostels, but I would highly recommend staying in hostels when traveling because they are cheaper and you will meet Travel Agency Houston. Hostel rooms also have more than enough room for your things, so you don’t need to worry about space constraints. Plus, they usually come with kitchens which is helpful if you want to buy groceries or cook your food.

Make friends with locals! Locals are excellent sources of information about their home country and can help you find unique places that tourists might never find on their own. Plus, it’s always nice to know someone when traveling around a new place! Don’t forget to plan out your travel destinations before leaving!

You don’t want to end up somewhere without knowing what you’ll be doing for the next few days. Use public transportation instead of taxis whenever possible. Taxi prices can add up quickly, and public transportation is often much faster, especially if you’re using it in major cities like London or New York City.

If you’re going abroad, make sure to download Whatsapp (if not already) and have international data on your phone (if not already). WhatsApp has become my lifeline while traveling because I use it all day long for communication back home and finding tourist attractions or asking locals about what there is to do nearby.

I Can’t Believe That Happened!

I remember when we used to take airplane rides back then, and we would always look out the window and see all of these lights from all over the world. There were moments when it felt like we could almost touch them, but now there are so many more planes in the sky that you can barely see anything except for clouds and other airplanes.

I can’t wait until this week is over because I’ll get back home and revisit my mom. I know she will be glad to see me, but I’m also looking forward to seeing how much she’s changed since the last time I saw her.

My dad just told me he’s getting a promotion at work, and he doesn’t think he’ll be traveling as much anymore, which means I don’t think I will, either! That sounds great because it means I won’t miss her quite as much when I leave for trips.

The Endings

I feel so lucky that I don’t have to work for anybody but myself. And there is no better feeling in the world than being able to go anywhere you want, anytime you want, he concluded. This is not easy, there are a lot of different risk, that you don’t know which people good or bad. I tell them nothing when people ask me if I miss anything about living in one place.

The best part of traveling is that I learn something new every time I visit a new country or city. This way, my job never gets boring or repetitive because every day brings new experiences. One day we might visit an old palace in India or snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef; the next, we might explore Buenos Aires or try traditional food from all over Asia.
